SHEARNUT THREES IN NORTHERN GHANA

In northern Ghana we do have many different types of plants which are used for commercial purposes and some of them are use for domestic needs.

In northern Ghana, the tree that are mostly used for domestic and commercial purpose are cotton and shear nut. But shear nut do here much more than any plant can do.

Here is some of the shear nut trees behind my house. it will soon ripen  and that will means, we will have some fruits to eat. apart from that, the village people will be using them for their oil for cooking and others will be selling them to the companies as raw materials, to be used in their companies. That's wonderful blessing from nature !!!!!!
